OCTOBER IMPROV WORKOUT with Sarah Holt
Wednesday, October 18
7:00pm - 9:30pm
1810 16th St NW
As actors, you have to make many choices in a scene. But what are you basing your choices on? Stanislavski coined the term "given circumstances"
to identify the facts of the characters and the situation they are in as presented in the text. In this workout, you'll play games that help you get at the given circumstances, and then play with how they affect decisions you make on behalf of your character in the moment of the scene.
Never done improv? This is the time to give it a try! No mime skills, charades expertise, improv experience, or preparation necessary. Warning:
Laughter is highly likely.
**This free workshop is open to members aged 18+ at any acting level. Log onto the website and click AC Training to register**
