Actors' Center and Actor's Studio 7 present “SELF-TAPING for AUDITIONS” with Hollywood actor and coach Andy Clemence

More and more, casting directors are asking actors to film themselves and submit a “self-tape” for their auditions. This Master Class focuses on the technical and artistic elements you will need to know in order to make a professional quality audition tape in the minimal time you're given to submit. Audition tapes will be shot using high-end HD video equipment as well as smartphones to produce the best tapes possible.
Discussions will include how to work with “what you've got” in stressful and non-ideal circumstances.
Actors are encouraged to ask questions as they arise during the workshop.

Mr. Clemence has been a professional stage, film, and voice actor for 35 years, appearing in lead roles at The Kennedy Center, Ford's Theatre, American Century Theatre, and Folger Shakespeare Theatre. He also performed for 15 years with the political comedy troupe The Capitol Steps all across the U.S. and Off-Broadway. In Hollywood, Andy starred in a number of films for Syfy-Universal and has appeared as the Secretary of Labor on House Of Cards. He is a life-long member of SAG-AFTRA, AEA and is represented by Jordan, Gill and Dornbaum Talent Agency in New York and Rogers/Orion Talent Agency in Los Angeles.
