Is Standardized Patient Work for You? with Carol Randolph
Tuesday, Feb. 21
7:30 - 9:30pm
Silver Spring Stage
10145 Colesville Rd
Silver Spring, MD
Use your improv and acting skills to present medical conditions to a team of medical students who then must use their training for the diagnosis. The work can be steady, the pay pretty good. But what's really involved? Is it something you'd be comfortable doing? And, if so, where do you sign up? In this workshop, an experienced Standardized Patient actor will walk you through the pros and cons, point you toward opportunities, and answer all your questions. For AC members aged 18+. FREE.
(NOTE: This workshop takes place in Silver Spring, NOT at the AC Office in DC.)
CAROL RANDOLPH has worked as a Standardized Patient at several area med schools, primarily USUHS (Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences) in Silver Spring, since 2007.
