Prepare your next Shakespeare audition monologue in this coaching workshop with classically-trained McLean Fletcher.
Following up on Analyzing Shakespeare's Text*, McLean Fletcher will guide participants through the process of performing a monologue from the Bard's canon. Please bring a brief (60-second) monologue from Shakespeare or one of his contemporaries.
*Attendance in Analyzing Shakespeare's Text is reccommended for beginning actors, but not necessary.
McLean Fletcher (she/her/hers) is a professional New York-based actor on stage, film, and voiceover. She has her Master of Fine Arts from George Washington University’s Academy for Classical Acting and is a proud founding company member of TheatreLAB in Richmond, Virginia where she worked as Associate Artistic Director for several years. McLean can be seen in commercials for Goodwill, Anthem Health Keepers, Busch Gardens, and Geico, amongst others. In addition to performing she is an accomplished oil painter, published illustrator, and works as a private acting coach and a barre3 instructor.
