Darren Marquardt started his long career in the Entertainment and Theater world more than 4 decades ago in Minneapolis, MN. He regularly collaborated with the Red Eye Theater including a touring performance at the La Moma Theatre in NYC. In 1998, Darren moved to the Washington DC Metro area and was a performing and teaching artist at several dance studios in the area specializing in Ballroom and Latin Social and Theatrical dance. He has a BFA in Dance from George Mason University.
His theatrical performance have included works at many theater companies including Interact Theatre company, Washington Shakespeare Theater, Brave Spirits Theatre, Synetic Theater, Faction of Fools to name a few. Darren currently is a company member with Endangered Species Theatre Project and an Artistic Associate creative contributor with Open Road. Darren has his MFA in Classical Acting from George Washington University and the STC’s Academy of Classical Acting.
