WHAT IS IT? A workshop about the fundamentals of preparing and presenting sides for a film or stage audition.
HOW WILL IT WORK? "Sides" are the portions of the script available to you ahead of time by the producer or casting director for use during an audition. In this workshop, you'll practice interpreting sides to make strong choices, performing them in a simulated audition setting, making "adjustments" (when the director gives you direction), working with a reader, and preparing the sides with a partner. Sides will be provided during the workshop by the instructor.
WHAT LEVEL ACTOR IS IT FOR? This is specifically for members who aren't familiar with working with sides.
WHAT WILL YOU LEARN? You'll learn the basics of preparing and presenting a side for an audition.
