Anyone can Improvise; Every Actor has to.
No previous experience required.
You will learn how to apply performance improvisation techniques to scripted acting for stage and in front of the camera; greater confidence in moments of uncertainty; and encouragement to make stronger, bolder, and more immediate choices. There will be some lecture but you'll mostly be on your feet. Dress to move and wear comfortable shoes.
$75 for AC members; $90 for non-members (invite your friends!)

Michael Harris (He/Him/His) has been performing and teaching improv since 2004. He spent seven years as the Artistic/Executive Director of the Baltimore Improv Group (BIG), and has performed in comedy/improv festivals from Philly to Austin and Chicago to D.C. A member of Actors' Equity, Michael has performed at the Kennedy Center, Studio Theatre, Signature Theatre and Spooky Action Theater amongst others. He is an alumnus & faculty member at the National Conservatory of Dramatic Arts and has appeared in over four dozen local and regional commercials and films.
