How is the Class Structured?
The first three classes will be used to work text and movement of a Shakespearean monolgue. Each actor needs to come prepared, familiar with about 16 lines of verse. For the last class the actors will book a 20 minute session with McLean and film the piece to have for their records/reel. It will be filmed for stage acting, not with film in mind.
What Will Participants Learn or Come Away With?
Participants will leave with a better understanding of how to approach Shakespeare’s work as well as receive an edited digital version of their monologue to submit to auditions.
